Admission Process

General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM)

Admission Process

  1. Submit the application to the college or through the admission process notified by the Telangana authorities.
  2. Document verification.
  3. Merit-based selection.
  4. Admission confirmation after fee payment and verification of original certificates.

Eligibility

  • Passed Intermediate (10+2) or equivalent from a recognized board.
  • Must fulfill the eligibility criteria prescribed by the Indian Nursing Council and the Directorate of Medical Education, Telangana.
  • Age: 17–35 years (relaxations for married women/ANM candidates as per norms).

B.Sc. Nursing

Admission Process

  1. Qualify TG EAPCET with the required rank.
  2. Register online through the KNRUHS Admission Portal after notification is released.
  3. Upload all required certificates and complete document verification.
  4. Exercise web options by selecting preferred colleges.
  5. Seats are allotted based on TG EAPCET rank, reservation policy, local area status, and availability of seats.
  6. Download the allotment order and report to the allotted college with original certificates and prescribed fees.

Eligibility

  • Must have qualified TG-EAPCET (score-based merit; NEET not mandatory)
  • Passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology & English — minimum 45% (OC/BC), 40% (SC/ST/BC-PwD)
  • Age: minimum 17 years; no upper limit

Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing

Admission Process

  1. Register online through the KNRUHS Admission Portal.
  2. Upload certificates and complete verification.
  3. Participate in web counselling.
  4. Download allotment order and join the allotted college.

Eligibility

  • Passed General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM).
  • Registered as RN & RM with the State Nursing Council.
  • Passed Intermediate (10+2) or its equivalent.
  • Minimum age: 21 years; no upper age limit

M.Sc. Nursing

Admission Process

  1. Register online through the KNRUHS Admission Portal.
  2. Upload academic and registration documents.
  3. Attend certificate verification.
  4. Exercise web options.
  5. Download allotment order and report to the allotted college.

Eligibility

  • Passed B.Sc. Nursing/Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing from a recognized institution.
  • Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife (RN & RM).
  • Minimum one year of clinical/professional experience after B.Sc. Nursing/Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing (as per applicable regulations).
  • Admission is based on merit and counselling conducted by KNRUHS.
